Alzheimer's Memory Walk

Alzheimer's Memory Walk

I'm sure you have hear of Alzheimer before but do you know what really is??? do you know that every 71 seconds, someone is diagnosed with this disease or that Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S???
Alzheimer is a progressive and fatal brain disease that destroys brain cells, causing problems with memory, thinking and behavior. This affects people's work, hobbies or social life. It's a disease that gets worse over time, and it is fatal.

Alzheimer has no current cure but The Alzheimer's Association is doing everything they can to change that.
This association raises awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research by doing their Memory Walk event. These walks take place in more than 600 communities and a typical Memory Walk is a 2-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning in the fall.

Check your community to see if the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is going to be held in your area. By participating you can also help to this great cause that affects so many people and families.

By teaming up with the Alzheimer's Association, you can walk with a purpose – and move us closer to a world without Alzheimer's. Together, we can MOVE a nation.
